Warehouse

Do you have a warehouse?

We do! It is appointment only. We regularly have warehouse days, we do also have availability for appointments during the week. It is based in Meldreth with quick and easy connections to the M11 and A505. Pop us an email at info@misscarlysleandco.com to get booked in.

VAT

Are you VAT registered?

We are! An extra 20% will be added to all quotes / invoices so there are no hidden costs. 

Styling Service

Do you offer an on-the-day styling setup?

We do! This doesn't come as standard with our styling, so please make sure you let us know in advance if you need us to set up and also set up your props. Please do not assume we will set up your props as we allocate a certain amount of time at your venue.

If our 'Stylist Set Up' is not on your quote, please note this has not been included, if you would like to add this on, let us know.

Take Down / Collection

How does Drop Off / Take Down / Collection work?

The Miss Carlysle and Co team will arrive with your hire on the agreed delivery day (normally the day before your event if allowed, if not then on the day as per agreed with the venue) Items will arrive boxed, bagged, and wrapped ready for you to create, unless you have opted for us to set the items up. 

When we collect everything must to be ready for the team on arrival. (Normally before 10am). The props must be empty of flowers, candles and back in the packaging, in the same area we dropped them off in.  If you are worried you won’t be able to do this before we arrive or don’t want to have the hassle just add on the ‘Pack Away’ package so it’s all done for you. This package is bespoke to your hire, we can quote for this with your proposal. 

If our team arrive and items are not ready for collection you will be charged for this service using your damage/loss deposit. Full terms and conditions will be sent with your invoice.

Venue

Do you set up on the day?

We will liaise with your venue about drop off / set up, we will chat with them about set up, whether that is the day before or on the day. You don't need to worry about this.

Please note we have a £500 plus VAT minimum spend on prop hire for us to drop off, set up and collect the props. We have no minimum spend if you collect from the warehouse.

Delivery

How much is delivery?

Delivery/Collection is calculated using the distance travelled from our warehouse to your venue and the amount of vans required. Most deliveries require two members of the Miss Carlysle and Co team so you don’t have to help us lift. Your delivery charge will be quoted on your estimate. Mileage is charged at 65p a mile.

Collection

Are we allowed to collect props from the warehouse?

Arrangements can be made to collect smaller prop hire items. Larger items we suggest we deliver to keep you stress free with one less thing to organise. We are all fully trained at Miss Carlysle and Co when it comes to loading our vans and carrying our items to prevent damage so you know it will arrive in great condition.

We have a warehouse team at the warehouse on designated days, we will agreed with you a month before what day is suitable for both of us. 

Decor

Are all of your props on the website?

We are constantly updating the brochure with our props, however, if you have your heart set on an item and you cannot see it on the website, let us know as we might have this in stock or we can potentially source the items in.

Outside Use

Can the props be used outside?

Most of our items are fine to be used outside, however nothing must be left out over night or during rain and snow. All Items must be bought inside a building or covered by a marquee to prevent morning dew or rain damage.

What style of wedding do you like best?

My ideal style is a rustic barn e.g. The Barn at Brook End Green Farm, Manor Barn, South Farm, Milling Barn, Bassmead Manor Barns, The Thatch Barn, The Barn at Spring Farm, The Granary Estates, Dodford Manor Barns, Gaynes Park or Sissons Barn, in the English countryside, however, I do work with all styles and ideas as I love a challenge.

Do you have set packages?

No, all of our quotes are bespoke, and tailored to your needs! Our quotes will come via Quickbooks. 

Booking

How do I book?

Please get in contact with us via email or our contact form, please state your venue, date, and what service you require.

We take a 25% deposit which will be sent alongside our booking form and terms & conditions will be sent via DocuSign.

Damage Deposit 

Do you take a damage deposit?

As standard, we take a £150 deposit, refundable after collection/items are returned.

What area do you over?

mainly work in Essex, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, and Cambridgeshire, I do travel around the UK if needed but extra charges will apply. Please be conscious of delivery costs and carbon footprint so we may suggest other companies like us that operate closer to your venue.
